Thursday 05 June 2008 Rattlers Rowdies Events w/o 5 Jun - 8 Jun 2008 How is everyone in Rowdieville? Great, I hope after beating down the Barrage, we now turn our attention to the Washington Bayhawks. (Is Rochester the only freaking city that has stayed in one city for their existence?) Washington is 2 – 1 and looking to knock our Rattlers down a peg. We split the season series last year, but I think only the Rattlers can beat the Rattlers this season. Here are this week’s events: Thursday June 5th Rattlers Roundup Radio Show, yes we are having some techie problems getting the show up on the website, but we’re working through them. This week’s show will have the #1 Goalie in the MLL, Mike Levin as well as From the Sidelines with Coach O’Hara and the Ripper Report. Tune into www.rattlersrowdies.com and listen to the shows at your leisure. Saturday June 7th 10:00am – 11:00am Rochester Krewhawks shootaround at Rochester Sports Garden in Henrietta - $5 per hour per player. Minimum of Helmet, Gloves and Stick required. Saturday June 7th 7:00pm – Rochester Rattlers at Washington Bayhawks LIVE on ESPN360 at Nathaniel’s Pub and Restaurant. Food and Drink specials, some munchies will be FREE. Sunday June 8th Burn Walk 2008 – Join the Rochester Krewhawks as we walk for the Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association (one of the Fann Cup charities). To join us, go to www.flrba.com for a pledge form. If you raise $50 you’ll get free admission to Seabreeze Park. Meet us at 9:00am at the Seabreeze parking lot, we will then bus to the Irondequoit Town Hall and walk three miles to Seabreeze Fire Department, across the street from Seabreeze Park. With the temps expected to be in the 90’s, that water park will feel great after the walk. Sunday June 8th 75th Annual Blossom Fest – Camp Lima, see the attached flyer, always a great time. Future Events to put on your calendar: Saturday June 14th – Golfing just because. Form your foursome now and join other lacrosse fans from around WNY for a fun day of golf, grub and beverages. 10:00am tee off, course to be determined. To RSVP, email me at tknab@robertscomm.com . Saturday July 26th – 2008 Fann Cup (www.fanncup.com) is being hosted by Rochester this year. Come out to the Rochester Sports Garden and see all of your friends “pretend” to play lacrosse and more importantly raise a ton of money for two very worth charities in the Rochester area.
